12:06 am - dead leaves and the dirty ground

here are some of the pictures I took when Julia, Charles and I went to Eerie street cemetery (on east 9th here in cleveland) most of the graves stones were topped over or vandalized which was really sad.

this one was my favorite. It was part of a three part set. The other two were simply labeled "mother" and "father"

this is my second favorite. The smaller stone reads "mother" and is actually embedded into the tree. I would have never saw it if I hadn't walked up to it.

this stone was laying a few inches from the ones pictured above. I'm not sure if it was part of the set or not but oldly it felt like it was supposed to be there.

12:22 pm - No sticky, hot, messy, awful blood
I finally finished Darkly Dreaming Dexter after about 3 or 4 weeks trying to drag through this book. It is such a slow read considering that it is only just below three hundred pages. At first, I really enjoyed Lindsay's writing style but by the end I was screaming enough all ready with every page. It was like the author tried way to hand to drive the fact that "Dexter is an Emotionally vapid monster and likes it" home. I orginally wanted to read this book after watching a few episodes of the series but for the life of me I just couldn't get into it. I will say the ending was a bit suprising but even that felt rushed. It was almost like Lindsay grew tired of writing his own story and decided to switch plots within the last 20 or so pages. This is one case where the TV show is actually better. On a rating scale I give it a C and that was because Michael C. Hall was on the cover of the copy I got from the library.

I haven't been posting on this. that's what happens when you get a paid account. I haven't really had anything interesting to write about for that matter. I've just been hanging out with rob or playing the kingdom hearts game for ds. The most exciting thing that has happened to me is unlocking the Agrabah world in kingdom hearts. Yeah...

11:29 pm - Writer's Block: Here's looking at you

What is your all-time favorite, romantic movie scene? What about it speaks to you?

View 1072 Answers

currently it's the scene in Harold and Maude right after the carnival. She procedes to tell him how lovely it is and then chucks it in to the water because that way she will always know where it is. I have no clue why that came to mind upon reading this but it did.

12:24 am - has anyone read this?

I just bought this on amazon for 50 cents. I didn't realize it until a second ago that I bought the second book called "Murder of angels" at my library book sale. It had comments by both Poppy z brite and Neil Gaiman so it looked promising. I'm gonna go back to snuggling under blankets with my copy of Preludes and Nocturnes now.

problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

12:42 pm - Writer's Block: I'm sorry

If you only had one day left to live, and you had the chance to tell one person from your past "I love you," who would it be? How about "I'm sorry"?

Ever  since my dad passed away this week. I feel compelled to tell Rob I love him everytime I go out somewhere or before we go to sleep. Not to mention the countless times I tell him I love him just because he does something nice. I guess I don't want something to happen to one of us without me telling him how I feel. So, if I had one day to live even though he's not from the pastI would tell him.

Friend wise I would probably tell my friend david that I love him. He's been like a brother to me and got me through some pretty shit times in my life. I've known him since third grade. I haven't spoken to him in a few months. we go through patches of time where we dqon't speak and suddenly start up again like nothing happened.

as fr I'm sorry I would probably tell my parents that I'm sorry if they were still living. I'm not saying that they were totally guilt free when it comes to everything that happened during my childhood but I made some pretty bad choices from time to time.

I would also apologize to rob. I've taken some things out on him during our relationship that wasn't his fualt. I'm not saying he's guilt free either but he deserves an apology.
